Baker shootout update for conditions!! And Parking

Shoot Out Update!
We are asking people camping and who are pulling large trailers to park in the parking lot 1. You will have ice and patchy snow to the Blue Lake Y, from there it is gravel 1.5 miles of gravel. The parking lot 2 and 3 will be plowed tomorrow pm, but there are large piles of snow in them which limits how many rigs we can get in there. Those should be used for trucks with decks and small trailers. No roadside parking between the 2nd and 3rd parking lot as it is icy with deep areas of snow. Roadside parking is ok above the 3rd parking lot, but keep in mind that the 16 foot groomer must go up Saturday morning with the BBQ and Dealers tents, etc. DO NOT BLOCK THE ROAD!
If camping and parking in the first parking lot, please be considerate and park close so that we can get as many rigs in there as possible. We will have someone assisting with parking, our goal is for everyone to have a good time, so bring your patience and p...repare to park close and you probably will not be able to use your awnings. We appreciate your cooperation and patiences with it all. No Hay! Bring comfy lawn chairs to sit by the fire. Don't forget to bring some canned food or a gently used or new coat for the food and coat drive. Lunch will begin around 11:00 and the raffle drawing will be held at 1:00. The Northwest FreeRiders will be on hand to do a "crowd pleaser" for us, providing the weather is good. The area they are set up be off limits until after the show, it will be flagged off, we appreciate you not going into the flagged off area! All our our local dealers are on hand with some demos for you to try and WSSA and NWAC will have a representative up there too! Let's all have a fun day doing what we love to do! Meet new people, tell stories and have a blast! See You up there!

Thank you to all who made this happen. It was a great treat to have hot coffee with a meal. Grilled onions and cheese over a chiliburger really brought out the sunshine.

It snowed good friday afternoon thru late afternoon saturday. We got around 4 inches in the 3rd lot friday thru saturday.

Huge difference in riding friday to saturday. Hard crust on top of it all everywhere on the hill friday--with extremely flat light:face-icon-small-dis but when the snow started around 1:00 we had hopr for saturday.

Best riding was probably just in the meadows--but we did get some entertainment up at the Que on the hill--there of course were several roll overs as normal--glad to see all the demos up there were getting ridden too. Sorry we did not see more people up there--lots of room in lot 1 and lot 2 was empty---it was about the same as the last several years for the ride up the road from lot 1--several hauled sleds up the hill to the deep snow line, but overall--most rode from the lower lot with no issues--It was a good time overall--as always. Missed those who did not make it up--but the new snow was sweet for sure--made saturday a enjoyable ride, but bummed friday was not better--but as always--overall had lots of great people, with a few exceptions as always(to much to drink and OOC) but still fun.

See ya all up there next year!!
