NO kidding!! I was happy with making plans, thinking clouds, high snow level some drizzle.......and then wake up this am to sunshine!!! ARGH!!!

Just got back from Baker...Blue skys and after going past hood hill it was deeeep and FUN!!!!

Icey and crusty down low.

Ok Yamadawg..I took the dogs to Padilla bay by Anacortes and got to see Baker laughing at me all day clear as all get out..sunny too! The thing with Baker is you just have to go...weather can change there at any time.

Sometimes you just have to analyize the data yourself. Accuweather has a good satelite that showed that clearing and weather channel radar showed the snow that fell the day before. Don't feel to bummed if you didn't go cause it was DEEP. So deep in fact that kicker jump those boarders built a week ago was nearly gone. So it must have snowed at least 5 feet in the last week up there. It was stuck fest. I even got stuck once.

it was deeep up top!! and still super fun lower.. i got my Baker cherry popped finally and shoooot! not really all that stoked bout riding my other places now. that place is amazing and i only explored a 1/4 of it..
if you're not trying ur not getting stuck.. i got stuck several times.. thanks for the help jer and sled2shred..

Baker was absolutely wonderful. As soon as the sun hit the hard crust the snow soften up and was deep. Good day!!
