Im new to the Bellingham area and am looking to take a weekend off to ride baker in Feb. The snow in the Cle Elum area isnt that great this year. If any one is going to be riding baker on a weekend in Feb. I'd love it if we could tag along as I dont know any of the trails at all. Looking for some good powder of course. Boondocking and hill climes a must! Thanks!

Also it would be great if someone could confirm where the snow park is located where every one meets. Sorry for the stupidity.... but I am new to the area. Thanks.

Go to Mt Baker NRA Snow Park. It's a little ways past where it shows on the map.
Just keep going up the road til you get to the "No wheeled vehicles beyond this point" sign. I'm not sure if they are still unloading at the 1st snow park or at the wye, either way, you can't miss it.

We were also stuck in the fog until around 2pm, then went up to some very good riding. It cleared off and by 4 we headed for the truck in fine weather.
Fridays are kinda out of the question cause of work, and I cant really go till after feb. 1st. gotta wait to get paid to go transfer sleds from Cle Elum to here, plus got to do a few mods before I go. I will keep in touch with you all though. Thanks for all the info. CRTVSTL: Would love to hit up the spot where you got that awesome pic!!

the pic probly came from about 7k feet, but on a clear day there isnt a spot on the mtn above 4500 feet that does not have that kind of view. just wait and see. you will be blown away
Definately look forward to it. sucks I have to wait till next month but hopefully some weather will come in before then.
