Baker pictures today

Mt Baker was awesome today!! 2 with 3+ feet of fresh on the leward side of the hills--Light as can be--till about 12:00 when it started to warm up--still great riding though--DEEP everywhere!!

Was bit lazy on pictures-all but 3 are afternoon shots after it was all torn up(had to ride before someone else tore it all up--LOL---But took a few--thought I would share them anyways.

Uh huh... salt in the wound. Some friend you are.

I invited ya!!!

You had your play time in Idaho last week---LOL

Next trip buddy---But it was AWESOME!! Ask Ruffryder and Yammadog--they were tearing it up when we found them:)

If I wanted to rub it in--I would have sent you a picture via the phone:eek: and really ruined your day;)

When are you going to share the pics of "2-3 feet of fresh"? (Yeah honey, its 6", I swear)!! lol ;) :D :beer;

Baker was EPIC today ! ! !

At one point (in the bowl below big house) I jumped off my sled and laded ball$ deep in fresh. I'd say 2-3 ft is an understatement...

:D

Best ride of the year today. No doubt.

Modsldr---where were you today?? Could have used ya.
Pocket lake pictures---2 pulls and that was all the higher I could get-and Blindman too--Of course with me riding--that does not say alot--It was deeper than the pictures show--I pulled out the camera out at the end of the day except for pocket.--Honest Engine. But it did not take long to have to go to the outskirts to find uncut snow--as usual up there.

Remember the hole I made last time---It was much deeper than that when ya got stuck:eek: and was real deep on the leward side of the hills.

Mised ya buddy.

Sorry I missed ya Paul.....it was painful looking at the mountains today.....I had electrical problems yesterday, dropped the sled off today at steeldreams..... to plug into the computer.....

The whole parking lot was full and we had fresh pow all day.
lots of riding buddies from the past were there, but where did
they all go? nobody on the mnt. So was this the last big pow/sunny day
of the year? Happy Easter, sparks

Ahh west edge so that was who we were hearing behind us. We were just a couple valleys over further to the left and the three of us rode all freakin day without anyone else in sight, nor a single track. We went through our gas and spares in no time at all. Killer day for sure, i feel bad for the guys who couldnt make it, days like these are numbered at this point in the season.

H20SKE, We didnt formally meet, but i was the guy with the shaved head who got out of the lifted gmc with the four place and was cussin about the dumbass people and their parking jobs. We ended up parking right in front of you.

forcefed, Yeah I think your right , at the end of the day we followed your tracks, way over to the drop off to doom, what a cool spot. In the spring there is a hole that must be a vent over there on a ridge that melts the snow
around it. I almost rode into it a few years ago. So that must be a vent hole blowing out hot air from the volcano ,has anyone else found it? , See ya, Sparks

pow, pow, pow,

What else is to be said about an Epic Baker day, besides carving downhill is the sh$t. Oh, and I finally had the low fuel light come on. First time in 850 miles.:D

No problems except for only pulling 7900-8100 rpm in the deep. Good thing max power is around 8900.

4cefed---That was actually better than normal for that parking lot---LOL

That was a good spot for you actually---we just did the 6 truck sled deck line up--Hope to say hi next time.

Ruffryder--thanks for the pictures--much better than mine--It was a AWESOME day---I hope the weather will do this for the Shootout in 2 weeks. It is snowing hard up there now--go tomorrow and you would not even see any sled trace--over 8" new already--it is going to be crazy deep up there.

See ya at the Shootout--stop by and say hi! Picture of lodging below.
