look like a really bad idea!! every slope in those pics could side easy and not hard to see that!!! like 36 dead this year and people still post pics of areas that they should not be in??????

maybe.... but we lost what 3-4 more this weekend??? and im under the impression that the snowpack is unfixable for the year unless it all slides??? not to mention that out of all the areas in west baker is known for having the most snow, highly doubt this group dug down 10-12 feet??? correct me if im wrong

Three things:

1. Avy danger was LOW today - there was some local sluffing, but overall very stable.

2. There were some major d i c k head parkers in the baker lot today. Who the hell blocks people in and then is the last one back to the lot? Seriously unimpressed with people rudeness. i know the lot is small, but use your head.

3. Today was the best spring riding i've EVER had! ha ha :D

Washington's snow pack has stabilized big time due to the heavy rains we had. We still need to be careful and use our heads, however I don't think we are facing the same problems as those east of us.

Snow pack was stable that day, avy danger was low, and all had beacons, probes, and shovels. IMO we were about as safe as you can be while mountain riding. I guess i just don't understand why you don't think we should have been there?

So does "using your head" involve vandalizing someones trailer (ripping out the wires from the plug) and pulling the pin and keeper out of the slide in on the reciever hitch so that their trailer comes unhooked on the way home. Way to fight stupidity with stupidity.

no splaining here. there was anger in the lot over your park job, but i don't know who touched your trailer. Taking the pin out the receiver is not OK. I'm sorry someone did that to you, that's not OK. Next time please be more respectful of your parking though. It took my buddy over an hour to get his rig out.

We got 'er all straightened out, case of mistaken identity between me and mrquick68. Wrong truck. I had a feeling there wouldn't be anybody hanging out on here who would screw up somebodies stuff. I'm gettin' over it now anyways. We got the parking lot plowed today anyways. Make life a whole lot easier for everyone.

Thanks for clearing it up clarklake! It was nice meeting you and your buddies up at the lookout. We had some good laughs listenin' to "tall post" tell his stories. Hope the nick name is OK! ha ha. See up there soon. :D

Yeah, "tall post" sounds like a good one. His real name is Bjorn, so tallpost might be better anyway. Yeah, if everyone else is prayin' for snow like I am, we should get some pretty soon.

Clearlake you were riding the summit and with the big guy on the rmk 600 right? Nice meeting you, I was the guy with the Escape you were talking to at lookout and in the bowl right below lookout as we watched the "big guy" try to climb back out.

Right on, yeah. My buddy was asking you about 'synching' carbs? I'm looking outside right now and its snowing. Hopefully we get some accumulation. I've gotta get some new rubber keepers on my windshield after my 'crash'. I think the bowl we were down in is called Pocket Lake. I'm pretty sure it is anyways. Yeah, Bjorn, the guy on the 600, or 'Tall Post' as we are calling him now, has been talking about this "monster" hillclimb he made ever since. We may have created a monster!
