Where is the parking at Baker now after the shootout?

I parked at the 2nd switchback today. The no wheeled sign is before that but its bare gravel up till the second switch. Patchy after that but enough to stay on snow most of the way.

Baker is still tracked up from the shootout. Theres mybe an inch new. REALLY tough climbing in those mashed taters up there. Felt like I wighed double.

But at least we got sun!

Nice, it is amazing how the sun can make an ok day a great day!! How much snow is in the meadows? I was up there last month and it was around 4 ft. I assume it is a lot more then that now..

Yeah, it's got decent coverage in the meadows now. Should stretch our Baker season later than we thought hopefuly.

Any guess to how mych snow and how long it may stay open? Maybe another Month?

Another month would be middle of May, My guess, probably. But depends ALOT on the weather.

Well after this weekend it will be Baker or St helens until the snow is gone for this kid. thanks for the info.
