WOW!!! Never seen Hood Knob without snow!

Here it is from my laptop. Hike total miles was 7 miles and the part to hood hill was no trail access so we went on the rocks.

How is my creek crossing bridge holding up? Some of my naysayers swore it would wash out this spring but I don't think so.

My snow bridge is where the creek crossing is on the East side of the valley and was made with a couple of tons of rocks. We used to have to have a lot of problems at that spot...not last year and hopefully it holds up again.

But where's the snow?
Thought you had a couple feet of snow this time of year.
Every autumn i feel that i live in the wrong place, it's several posts on here telling they got snow already, here it only rains, we selldom ride before december.
I would have followed you on sunday if i lived closer, hope weather holds til then, next week the snow can come.

The snow is higher up, it's been very warm and with the lack of rain we are all dried up so we wait patiently... Winter will be here soon I feel it in the air
