how is it up there any new snow going for a b day ride on wednesday. will is be good?

forecast is looking good for some sunshine Wed. but it has been really warm up there....freezing level was about 6000 ft yesterday and today.

thought it snowed up there over the weekend. any pic from the last couple days
Sunday morning at Schreibers Meadow it was sunny. Was nice to see the 3ft of snow that had fallen the previous several days. It's been raining up there since then so... take your chances. If it is sunny you'll likely have a good time as long as you're not looking for fresh snow.
Went up yesterday and parked at the third switchback, it was raining all the way up to peanut and then turned to snow. The snow was pretty heavy, but it was better then sitting at home.

where wont be there till about 9. the switchback is where the trails spilt right. to go to bear paw or excilaber?
My bad, I was talking about the south side...Schreibers Meadows. We're going to go play in the salad bowl/pocket lake area.

yep, unless the suns cookin the snow, its hard. The trail in was groomed on tuesday and it froze good on tuesday night. wednesday it was solid.

Went up to bear paw on thursday. Great day sunny and a light crust on top but a nice 10 inches under that.
