Late Afternoon: Snow. Steady temperature around 21. South southwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow. Temperature rising to around 29 by midnight. South wind between 7 and 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 17 to 23 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow. High near 31. South wind between 11 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 13 to 19 inches possible.

I rode or tried to ride today. There is a ton of snow. Very wet and heavy.I cant wait untill the groomer makes a path off of the road into the meadows it gets very confusing riding throught the trees not know were the old trail is. Also it very DEEP (i kept sinking down to my waist).

Where is the parking at now? Bottom lot or the one at the Y.? Or is the snow line up higher and you park on the side of the road like in the spring?

all this great snow and i bought my first sled today!! it's looking much better than last year with a respectable and honest base early in the season.

i bought a 05 rt 1000 doo with sub 400 miles. mt baker here i come!!!

I only hit Baker 1-2 times per year usually on the south side.

I am going to try Bear Paw on Sunday. Is there room for a 4 place enclosed?

Open??

Has the Forest Service said its open up there now?? I heard it wasnt open til Dec 1st. We dont wanna get it shut down before given the go ahead. I havnt ridden it in about 4 years so I cant wait to get outta Alaska and get there to ride...

stop sign's almost to the bottom of the sign. That means there is about 4ft at the bridge. You only need 2ft. Trails in to hood hill. The Anacortes crew busted but to get there today!

forest service doesn't check the snow. They won't hike four miles through the snow to measure at the bridge. They use the sledders to let them know. Retodd has all the pics.
