warm and dry but stiff .. they dont * pivot lol ,, thet bend at the arch and thats about it.. its not a complaint just an observation

i like em

I wear Pivots with the Boa system. Feet were warm and dry all last winter; the Boa system is a nice option too.:beer;

I love mine! Nice and stiff, and they do kinda bend instead of "pivot".
The rear entry is so much easier to get in and out of, and the boa is the bomb. Super warm and dry. Plus you can take the liner out to let it dry out.
My only complaint would be that they are kind of fat around the top. Took a bit to get used to SO much support. I would def recommend them!

Got 'em two years ago 'cause I have twisted my ankles too many times and wanted some good support

I really liked them but I just bought some Klim Adrenalines this year.

Pros of the Pivots:

-WARM feet, no leakage whatsoever (did get some water over the top once in a creek)
-Excellent ankle support
-Quick entry and lace up (always ready quicker than my riding buddies)
-Removable Liner

Cons:
-No laces in front to snap my gaiters onto
-Wide boot (I wear a 14) and barely fit into my M1000 footwell and won't fit my Apex footwell
-One boot had most of the plastic that that boa goes through break off.

I did get a ton of riding in last year, but I wouldn't have expected the boa lacing to break.

Overall, I would do them again if they would fit into my footwell because I really liked the ankle support and how quickly they go on/off.
