Baddest M1000 I've seen!!

If your looking for the fastest M1000 setup I have ever seen you need to hit up Little Orange Cat here on SW. He and his dad put together a M10 that actually runs like one would expect a 1 liter to run. Pump gas piped and clutched is about all that is done.
I can honestly say that by far this is the fastest, best climbing, cat in the NW by far. I don't ride ride cat but it seems like everyone else on our mountain does and frankly I don't ride a cat because I was never very impressed by the M10 power. Being the only 1 liter available on the market one would think it should be 20% better than an 800 class sled. Not the case in my opinion.
Far as I know its ported piped and clutched with oil delete. Other than that just add premium fuel. Other than Michaels turbo sled can't think of another turbo or big bore on the hill that will run with it. Just thought I would share what I observed. Maybe they can help some other M10 owners get the performance their looking for.

Cheers

ditto

watched this sled on feb 21st, at bbq an drags. Veryyy impressed on how well it goes.Keith you did good....

N/A

Were talking about a N/A sled...no boost here...this sled can run with boossted sleds.:face-icon-small-sho

i witnessed it

kinda made me rethink the whole turbo thing for conditions i ride. the 1000 was going against 3 new m8 race gas turbos up a pretty good climb stayed with them didn't beat them all mbms machines i inquired about it and will talk about the money its gonna take, its ported and piped said it was a cool port job gotta be somethin else

I would like to know the setup and where in the NW are you talking about.

the sled is out of Lynden Washington in Whatcom county

The north west is a big area and I have seem some boosted 1000's at over 300 horse power that are unbelievable on what they will climb.

This sled is a great example of how a well set up NA M1000 can run. They also have a M1200 with a giant turbo pushing well over 300 hp and of course their NA 1000 is no match for it.

In fact in our play races you can't even see the other sleds in the drag videos when the little_orange_cat is racing with his 1200 turbo.

the sleds racing with the 1000 were pump and race gas M8s running 7-10lbs of boost. We did have a barbecue with some fun racing on another weekend and this 1000 won every NA race easily.
