Bad Ski Doo dealer experience

Busted a driveshaft this morning, lucky for me it went when I unloaded in the Owlshead parking lot. Many thanks to the Vernon Motorsports guy's for helping me get it on the deck. Being desperate I went down the block to H2O. The lady at the counter just stared at me and didn't even ask "can I help you"? I said, I broke my driveshaft on an 800 summit. At this point "Dale" walked away and she just looked at me for a bit and then said "and".
WTF kind of a response is that, did she think I just wanted to run in and give them the news? I said can you fix it? and the response was no.... well not this week any way. Doubt if they could figure out what is wrong. Worst dealer on the planet bar none and I will never darken their door again. If you are ever in Sicamous stay away from them. Every thing I have ever heard about them was confirmed.
I headed down the street to JB Marine They went out of there way to help, ordered the parts and installed the next morning. Check out JB if you ever need any thing in Sicamous. Stay away from H20.

H2O sucks balls ! I like Max Machine ! That guy helped me out and stayed late for a broken limiter last time i was in Siccy ! Very good Doo guy when it comes to motors. H2O is awful !
 
This dealer ship should be shut down!! He is a dick and as a dealer he is of know help to anyone, unless u have bought it from him. Some time they will find how crooked he is, and pull his dealership rights.

Things are pretty good in Sicamous. H20 sucks *** but the other guy's are good. Just loaded my sled up down at JB Marine. All fixed with a new driveshaft. Pretty sad that a local doo dealer can't service the BRP product and JB could source the parts and repair in one day.
 
Same thing here......That guy is a dickhead..... We had some kind of electrical problem on an XP back in Eagles Pass..... Towed it out and took it to town to see if he might be able to help us out...even if he couldn't get to looking it for a couple days...... He basically said NO he wouldn't even look at it for 2-3 weeks........ he said MAYBE he would look at it then but that was a big MAYBE.... He wasn't even polite about it..... What an @$$hole.... We won't ever go back there for ANYTHING.....Used to buy Oil and other stuff there when we were in town... won't even do that now.... have had too much CRAPPY customer service from him other times as well.....

Can't say enough good things about Randy and the guys at MOTOR TECH....They are just AWESOME!! I'm surprised their still around the shop! I thought they were closed for good....

I had a similiar experience with the shmucks and H20 i was in bought a bunch of stuff and asked if i could either get them to drill a hole for me or if i could borow a drill as i did not have one, the dummy behind the counter goes off on a tangent about how the dont lend tools blah blah blah so i said thats fine when can you come drill one 3/8 hole in a piece of plastic for me, he said bring it back in january (Like 10 days) how rediculous. And then i said i'll just go ask the guys at powderlites and he started in on how much the hate powderlites and how much of a crook they are etc. i never did tell him that i had just bought a turbo kit from PL. Anyway that place is **** and the only reason the get any business at all is because they are the only doo dealer nearby...

I think everyone that reads this should pass it on and we as sledders should bouycot these MOFO's
 
We are doing the "Ultimate Ski Doo" project in Salmon Arm and we were supposed to get some drivers next day aired in, but they show they won't be here till Monday, found out this guy had some so I thought I would see if he might be nice enough to let me use his and I could give him mine on Monday, I even offered him 4 movies $120 value just for his generosity. No way, I don't do business like that! I then asked him if he could make me a little better deal and I would just buy them, he went off on me. Yeah this guys a jerk, nobody likes him, they all warned me! We won't last much longer, he has no business sense and a really bad attitude! There are plenty of awesome Doo dealers in this neck of the woods to support!

Yep, we should all boycott those jerks. Both Mac's Machine and JB Marine in Sicamous stock some doo stuff and do repairs. They also help each other out. Stay as far away from H20 as you can and maybe they will go away eventually.

They hate powderlites and call them crooks because the mechanic they had walked down the street and went to work for Powderlites. They way they treat the consumer it must be a horror story for the employees.
 
............looks like blockhead is making friends again!!!lol I ride a cat, not because I think cat is the best, but because the dealer in town (shuswap xtreme rec. in salmon arm, b.c.) is an outstanding dealer and will bend over backwards to help any rider to get back in the saddle. Rory rocks!!!

with that said, the dealer is what makes or breaks it for most people and H2O in sicamous is a very good reason to not ride a Ski-doo around here. he wouldn't even cut doc zoom a break on a simple set of drivers so we could continue building his sled, thus putting a $40,000 sled build on hold for 2 more days. and Dale is trying to sell the dealership.............with a rep like this, I wouldn't give him $20 for it.
