Bad Day Please Help

I had the clutch side drive shaft break and bearing come apart.
Twisted the drive shaft inside the chain case.
3 Questions:
1)How do you get the bolts out that hold the skid frame in?
Got one side off and the other side just spins the shaft.
2) What should I replace it with?
Aftermarket?
Stock?
Any recommendations?
3) Any idea how this happened?
Greased at the start of the season.
Thanks in advance.
Rob

bolts are in a common shaft, reinstall the one ya got out, tight, then hit other side with impact. Should bust it loose.

my guess is that bearing went south first then took driveshaft with it...stock should be just fine.

Sometimes those bolts can be a real pain. I have taken out the bolt, added a nut to it and reinstalled the bolt and tightened the nut. This allows you to loosen the other side and now you can simply loosen the nut on the other bolt and remove it.

And it was full of grease!
And bearing stuff.
Not happy with Poo right now as I had to helicopter my sled off the mountain not to long ago for a $1500.00 bill and a blown motor.

Find a used driveshaft, they are not so pricey.
I have one in my garage, but I guess you would have to pay just as much for shipping as you could get one for in the states:face-icon-small-win

Did you break anything in the chaincase?
