We should all have avy education! But the truth is guys with training making mistakes just makes me mad. ie, we all know there is a risk climbing the big slopes.. Do we pat test everything? NO, but at least send ONE guy up the slope at a time! I am guilty of climbing that great slope with no tracks and a small evidence of an avy off to the side. If you say you NEVER have done that you are a liar. But I plead with you guys stop running 3-4 sleds up it at a time. That is a time bomb.
Send one guy and if you start seeing it sluff off STOP and evaluate your risks again. (trees etc. that will strain you thorugh) Its not a perfect world and we know that, but just be more aware of the risks before you take them.
