according to stevens pass web site the ski resorts last day is sunday april 19th. Backside open to sleds monday the 20th

Oh thats rite the Nodick center got hit by that avalanche no parking lot left .That carpooling back and forth from Skykomish is gona suck.Im not goin either :
Hope those guys tug the couch up to Tye Mill again.
That's not the one that got lit on fire and drug around the parking lot one night??
I heard after the ruckus from last year there wasn't going to be any sleds allowed anymore.

really.. stevens is small and kinda sucks for sledding.. u can cover the whole area in about 30 minutes.. with that said.. i'll be there monday.

How you like my old Kingcat?
Love it, it has worked flawlessly all year. Only things I did was add a riser and drop brackets, works great. I think we are headed to Baker or Stampede on Sunday, depening on the avy forcast.
At times I miss that MONSTER.
Attention Bubba Fest 09 members,
Last year ruined it. Several of my friends and I will be swarming the area making sure everyone behaves. No flaming couches this year, and alcohol consumption will be squashed. Come and ride and have fun, but a drunken party it will not be. Also be forewarned, my USFS cop buddies will also be out in force making sure you stay out of the wilderness. We will be there to ensure you get to keep riding in this location, instead of having it completely closed off for sleds. There will also be less areas to ride here this year becaus the alpine ski area will still be open. It shoud be posted.
