Had a pretty good day Thurseday just outside of McCall, here's some footage from the Vio Point-of-View (POV) camera.

Pretty sweet camera - easy to use and upload to the computer, easy to delete unwanted scenes, mounts nicely and very securely to helmet or other areas with acessories and it is waterproof so we look forward to getting some whitewater footage here a couples with it from the jet boat and jet skies.

Here are a few photos from that day too...

Oops! I should clarify that the camera is on my husband. I dont know that I could pull off that move in a tree well, not from a full on stop - he's more than twice my weight!

That's my kind of riding right there. :P Very nice vids. What model camera is that? POV. T, or POV. 1.5. Any idea what camera is the better one? I need to get myself one.

Just checked prices, Wow, pricey.

I have the same set up.
It is well worth the money.
You can get 6 hours worth of high res. recording on one stick.

The cam is mounted on top of his helmet. Did you use the new helmet mount or the flat mount??
Looks like you guys had some fun.
This is the pov-1 I have mounted on the side of my helmet.

We were playing in a drainage bottom.

Yeah I'm sure they are, buy I can't afford a $700 camera, if it was closer to $200, I can see it, but $700 just isn't an option for me.

Should mention too that another cool feature of the Vio POV.1 is the remote that attaches to your bars (or where ever you want to mount it) that makes it convenient to record & tag. You can run in a "Loop" mode so that it is continually recording but only keeps tagged loops. You can specify the lengths of these loops as well.

Ollie - we are using a velcro mounting tab that works excellent. We each have one mounted to our hemets - I assume they are realatively inexpensive so this would work great for passing the camera around to buddies through out the day, and especially between the two of us. Have you tried adjusting the volume on your camera? We have our volume set at "2" - seems to produce a pretty true sound. This was also recommended to us by Dave (the owner/developer of these units). Fun clip BTW!
