Backcountry Boardin 09/10 Season

OK, so its on! I have another winter off due to the economy so any day works for me. My sled is set up to go out and get some.
I'm based out of Mt Vernon for now and always looking to shred especially on the Bluebird.

I am also in Mt Vernon,But now have to rebuild my shocks and since i don't work it's gonna be tough to get a lot of days, but I will try to hook up when I can.

Im in for sure! Im a boarder first and snowmobiler second. Nobody in my group snowboards so it pretty much means im stuck riding the resorts. Im out of marysville and gotta go through vern to get to baker

just got on work share part time unenjoyment so i can pick the best day each week to head up. In B'ham so i prefer glacier creek but if its bluebirds will drive to s baker. of course now its all rain up there again but maybe in a few weeks. by the way i sorted out the snowmoshredding in sicamous this last week and it is really good, going back asap if anyone without a DUI wants to head north....

How's the sledboarding at baker? I'm based in Vancouver, BC but always open to explore anything within 2hrs drive especially if the snow is good.

Its OK. Similar to Hood but glacier crevasses to watch for and more rolli polli. There is some short extreme I haven't rode much but its there and below 6000'. Up high gets wind blown yet not too much wind lately but very warm. I would expect it to be smooth and a powderband between 6500 and 8000 feet. Probably pretty firm below that.
