Back pack

Looking at getting a new pack, been thinkin either a new bca throttle pack, or a hmk. What do you guys think?

Get an airbag, still works like a backpack but has life saving potential. It may not be as comfortable or hold things quite as well as other backpacks but the trade off is worth it. Plus they hold their value well so that makes it easier to drop the $.

Thought about the airbag, but I never ride anything thats even close to avy terrain, so I don't think it's worth the extra dough.

So you are referring to the Stash Throttle not the Float Throttle right? What budget are you working with? We have some great suggestions if we know what you would like to spend, as we have packs all across the board. Another question is what would you like to put in it? Both are key questions to ask before even looking at them. Let us know, we would be happy to help.

Klim. I've used a lot of packs:

2 fly racing
2 north face
Silver cartel

And my klim bag is hands down the best. You can tell its a product made by riders for riders.

I'd hold off for an air bag. No you don't think the terrain is going to slide but nobody really knows what will slide till it does.

Yes Stash throttle, I really don't want to spend more than $150. i guess just the normal stuff to put in it, food, gloves, extra clothes, flares, and other miscellanies stuff. I understand why all you guy say buy the air bag, but in all the year, that I've ridden, and all the people I've talked to that have ridden way longer than me, there is really no place on the island that will avelanche, or so they say. Thanks for all the comments, keep em coming.

I have the older Klim pac and like it. Wish I had the larger of the two now because I just feel it would be better suited to me. I wouldn't mind looking at an HMK product line either.
