I'm 17 yrs old and ive been riding on this mountain since i was knee high to a grasshopper. My father Mike Berry and Frank Ellis (RIP) made a good amount of those trails not to mention Frank built wanoga snow park. And now they are trying to close us out of an area that they wouldnt have if it wasnt for those 2, because we destroy the enviroment. I wonder if they have ever thought of the pollution THEY cause with there diesel powered ski lifts or the fact that they clear huge areas of trees for ski resorts. Now what i dont understand is why they cant just wake up and smell the two stroke maybe then they will realize that there is enough room for everyone in those mountains, no need to fight anymore!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum! Now I have to agree with you that we have a "Major" issue going on with Dutchman but Bachelor?? I don't think Bachelor has anything to do with trying to shut us down in the area. It's all the greenies that seem to have taken over the Dutchman area, with most of them being from out of the area and new to Oregon.
Maybe your mad because Bachelor has taken steps to keep us off the Mt. after hours, I don't know. What I would suggest is to join Mooncountry if your not a member already and voice your opinions through them. I know at the last meeting I went to there where no young people there. (I'm 27 and I was the youngest)
Trust me, your voice will be heard much louder at a Mooncountry meeting that ranting all over the OR section of Snowest.

when i say bachelor i mean that whole side of the mountain i dont mean just mt. bachelor i consider corbet and raybenson and the three creeks area different along with diamond and walton so i apolagize for the miss understanding and i am in the process of joining saws and mooncountry its just slow going right now
