local dealer is telling customers that there was not 1 engine failure to a 2011 pro in B.C last year. Find that hard to believe. Any of you B.C guys know of any that had any type of engine failures. Thanks I know they are better than the old 800's but not one problem in B.C.?

Never heard of one failing locally last year and I sled all around the Kamloops area.

I was fairly skeptical because of all the problems with the Dragon's and I sure as hell wouldn't buy a first year sled after that recent history.

I did hear about one from the local Polaris service department that needed to have it's injectors replaced under warranty, but that's it for around here.

I guess this season will tell us for sure if they can build an 800 that will last............

Full Disclosure: I ride an 09 M8 162 but snowchecked a 12 Pro RMK 163 :face-icon-small-win

i know of only one, and it was running a turbo. which was the direct cause of it failing

From my AB dealership they sold about 50 2011's and only had one come back in and it was for the TPS issue. So no failures at my dealership.

I've heard through people of some sleds going down due to the kink oil hose issue, was AB sleds in BC though. Can't confirm this though.

I also ride the B.C. area and haven't heard of any failures. Mines been good so far.... Knock on wood.

This spring my local dealer told me they had very few problems with the Pro's as well. No engines, just the odd random warranty claim.
