Ayone here know someone or have a good contact at GoPro?

I have an idea for them and have been trying to get someone on the phone for 2 months. I have exchanged emails and phone calls with a gal in customer service until I am blue in the face. I really would like to talk to them. I even offered to fly down at my own expense if they would just set up a time.

It would be great if someone on here had a contact or knew.... someone who knew someone.

It's a simple idea and if you can help me, I promise it won't be a waste of anyone's time. Maybe if we are lucky, there will be something in it for you.

PS - I know they have a submit suggestions page on their website, I don't want to sign away on a full release of any IP etc. without talking to someone in person.

Yeah ... have the GP session (little square one) - battery doesn't last $hit in the cold - should be an adapter so you can run power to it the entire ride ... battery dies long before card is full.

This describes every GoPro Camera I have ever used. Always carry a few batteries with for them and leave them in a warmer spot on the sled.

I have ran the idea past several gopro owners and all of them say they wish they had a gopro that did it. Crazy thing is, it is such a simple idea it is ridiculous. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the best ones. I can't understand why a company that has lost 80% of its value in the market would not pick up the phone and spend 5 minutes to find out if where an idiot like me thinks they dropped the ball. And see if it makes sense to pursue it. I really want to talk to them about it.

Try another camera company if they dont want to listen?. Maybe Contour?


PS. Yes my go-pros batteries die in 5min in the cold. For whatever reason my contours dont have that problem.

There are MUCH BETTER alternate battery solutions available.

I know there is. But I don't have that problem with my contours. And don't have to buy aftermarket battery stuff.

good idea - I'll contact Countour. Really would have like to have helped gopro but I guess everyone over there is too busy watching their stock plummet - every day.

Its going to be super cold in Cooke this weekend. I am going to try using the gopro back that has the opening on the case. I am then going to use those handwarmer packets and tape it to the back of the gopro........I will let you know how it works

Not at all lol. Went back to the keep the go pro in my pocket to keep it warm. Gets really old with how much work I have to spend pulling it in and out of my pocket to helmet.
