Axys Toe Loops

Ok, so does anyone make a taller toe loop so I don't blow my knees or ankles out this year. I was just going to cut mine off and weld it up higher or rig something else there. Thought I would check first.

I use the Everett ankle savers I have them tilted so The tip of my boot can go under them a little I was concerned they wouldn't work well but I never notice them when riding an I still have a toe hold. Very easy to install and they work really well.

These are for the pro but the talk was they were going to make them for the Axys too. maybe check and see if they did, or are close to.

No-Go/ I had 30 sales for these and it appears that they are not going to make them for the Axys as of right now-
I have been asking since the summer- maybe this will grab additional attention- there is another post on this Axys section giving more detail..but as far as I am aware- Nope...

Talked to B&M at hay days and they were struggling to make a piece to attach the loop to the sled on the axys chassis. It's not out of the works but definitely no for sure time table from what I understood.

Thanks for the plug! Also glad you like them.

Everett Ankle Savers are half that price and no mods to the sled required. If someone wanted to start a group buy, I could probably work something out. Can't start it myself, since I make 'em. The Ankle Savers fit all of the Axys and Pro chassis mountain sleds, in case you're wondering.

I cut mine off, i cut them initially on the tunnel side with intention on moving them up and re welding. but while cut i stood on the running board with both feet (225lbs) and they didn't budge where the cut was made. So i got rid of them.

After you posted that and as I was reading I thought ..what about the boards !!

Then took a look at mine and it looks more to be a side impact protection than a Structural Integrity piece ..

The way it protects the plastic if your not particular about how your sled closes and latches I would chop them off .. the Pro mounts the front of the Board these don't look to have the same tab ..

Or a 45 from the Board Tube to the overstructure with a Radius and Tig weld it would be better than factory ( strength is in Triangles)
