Hello
We have been getting a lot of calls on what Helix to run on the AXYS with a TIED Clutch. We where finally able to go out testing and get some time on this machine. We had a very good trip. There was 1ft-3ft of fresh powder to play in everyday. Kit was tested at 6,000-9,000 feet on a 155 track.
For those of you who don't have a TIED clutch we came up with a kit that will have everything you will need. The kit # is 520912 for $399.00. It will come with the clutch, helix, spring, belt removal tool, and shims to align your clutch.
For those of you who already have a TIED clutch we used Helix Part # 960036- 64-60-.33/62-58.33, and spring Part # 210182. We gave the helix just a little bit of progressive to upshift the clutch a little right away which helped it stay up on the snow and use the low end torque of this motor.
We understand that some people are going to want to load the motor a little more or less depending on snow conditions, rider size and how he/she rides but this setup should work good for most riders.
Any questions please feel free to give us a call
