Axys sure hate water

First and formly i wanna state that i know its a mountain king.

With that said i love to travel on water aswell and sealed up all parts around the primary to secondary. put a light in and cant se a single shed of light come out, either if i push on the plastic or start up and rev the machine.

But still water seems to find its way to primary and belt slippage and its game over.

is there any crazy bastard like me out there that has found the correct adjustments to make it worthy on water, and im NOT talking about a simple waterskipping a 50-100ft "15-30m"

*lingering in to the primary through the bulk?
*getting from the open parts at footarea?
*the long flap on sks ?

capable im sure of aswell, thats morten blien world record holder on water. So dont expect it to be near stock in many ways.

i cant track him down, get flooded with other pages etc.
sent a mail to the owner of the page u showed me do.

It sure doesn't sound stock. I think it's amazing how the skis don't even contact the water when he comes off the jump!

I don't know anything about watercross, I just remembered seeing this video and knew that the Axys RMK was plenty capable of ripping across the water.

This looks like the site must belong to a Professional Photographer. I can't read the language!

Its Norweigan language and i know there are some axys out there hitting the water, some of them must be here on forums or their friends and hope to share their ways and perhaps photos etc.

The guy on the blue Axys is Morten Blien. He is riding with a 860 big bore made by HSK in Norway.

Should be noted that this engine is not the new Axys engine, it is a mix with the axys crank and crankcase, pro cfi2 cylinder bored to the 860(838cc) kit from HSK with the older style exhaust valves, carburated with a 600R ignition.

But i agree, that video is insane, surely must be som power in this combo!

took away the secondary and the can, noticed the silicone let go on the outer part due to so long apart between rivets, put in more rivets on both sides so bulk attach firmly to the frame.

The biggest one i noticed is that the torque arm ? exists in the start in the tunnel, it sits real close between the sheaves so siliconed that one aswell.

made a block of plate just for testing and drilled a hole in the bottom under secondary and fitted a L shaped plastic tube used to connect hooses.

so know im ready for test 3. If it works im gonna block the pipe then remove block off to see if it sinks, since i dont wanna have thoose mods if not needed.

The Pro chassis sucks on water, I assume the axys is the same or worse.

And ive only done the necessary 50-100 footers along the river. Not anymore! It starts out awesome, then ya eat the handlebars.

I steer clear now, but surely panic when i get in iffy spots crossing lakes etc.

My bet would be the huge holes between the nose pan and the bulkhead where the front of the lower A-arms bolt up. Water smacking of the front suspension and traveling forward between the nose pan and the bulkhead. Fist sized hole on both sides.
