Axys primary clutch

Is there a difference between the 15 and 16 clutches besides the angle of the faces? I bought a 16 pro non es and going to put es on it. Then put the take off clutch on my 15 pro any problem doing this or performance gain?

While the '15 is off, send it to Indy Dan for the same treatment. His clutches are as good as his engines. Balanced and blueprinted to the correct specs. Not the garbage we get from the assembly line. Well worth the $200 plus postage!

Or would I be better just getting the 15 the $200 treatment and sell the new 16 take off?

First I would try to find someone that bought their with ES and wants to trade for non-ES. That said, rework the '15 clutch and I would be tempted to let Dan rework the new clutch also prior to install.

So then you would have to use the axys belt on your 15 to get the best performance?

Correct, If you use the '115 PRO belt or the Gates 44C4553 it will have limited contact due to the slight angle difference.

You will be better of using the AXYS belt or the Gates 45C4553.
