Axys gearing and Speedometer

How far off is the speedometer actually going to be with various gearing changes? If you put the Pro pulleys on the Axys, what is the actual difference in MPH? Or say changing driver sizes, pitch changes, etc. Is it worth it to buy a speedhealer, or to have dealer reflash the ecu to correct for the gearing? If its a small change and doesn't actually make that much difference in miles acquired on machine than I probably wont worry about correcting it.

Thanks Ian!
So for every 1,000 miles I ride it will record an extra 70 miles. I usually don't keep my sleds for a long time so I probably wont worry about correcting the speedo.

yes. speedo would indicate 7% faster if you have the pro gears installed on your axys

Would this mean the speedo is off 7% if your looking at track speed comparisons?
Like the guys who keep getting excited that the pro pulleys netted them track speed changes?! lol.

Definitely needs to be considered when changing gearing and drivers that your track speed measurements are no longer accurate with your original comparisons or others with the stock version of the sled.

8 tooth and 40/23 is a little off !!!!

Dealer says once I get something I'm happy with on my 18 they can ReFkash it to read correctly
