Axys 163 RPM Questions

Axys 163 with 58 weights at 10k feet consistently running at 8300 - 8400 rpm wide open throttle.
Dealer says 58s are what they recommend but 8400 seems a little high to me. Anyone else have their sled run that high? I have run 58s in my last 2 pros. Should I change to 60s".
I have seen a few other posts about not being able to hit 8200 but nothing about over revving or hitting 8400.
Thanks for any info you have.

I posted awhile back what I was targeting at- while everyone was happy @ 8150-8200 RPM.
My group was getting better results spinning the new 800 @ 8320-8380 / I am @ 10,000' generally and unload @ 7900' all running 163 2.6
I am running 62.5 Belly busters (I custom cut) with the Team bright green- These have the weight right where you want it (Hence the name)
The stock weights have alot of tip weight- and miss the grunt in the mid where I like for my style of riding- still the secondary needs some help- but that's a different post that's on here.
I think your to light for your elevation- Polaris clutching say's 10,000'-12,000' 10-60's and 10-62's for 8,000' to 10,000' so your def light @ the 58's
But I would use this as a good starting point if you not into tweaking to get the most out of your sled.

Don't confuse the results you were getting with previous pro's ( pre Axys) not even the same........

What he said-10-62's and adjust from there

I have a 163 2.6, ride between 8000 and 10,000ft 62g, stock spring and in the secondary went to a team black purple. running 8300 to 8400 on the hill.

Im in togwotee, 9000+ and running 61.5g. Think I'm still in break in but I was seeing 8300-8350

I am running 60's in my 155 2.6 at 10k feet and up. It pulls a perfect 8300 everyday, everywhere.

Crazy, because my stock sled (ethanol mode) was pulling 8500 with 60's at about 11,500'.

Now I have the SLP setup and I'm up to 64's at the same elevation. Motor pulls hard!
