Ax men

The water loggers are definitely a group of idiots. I'm not sure how they even got on the show. Looks like they are operating on a $5000 budget.

I missed the preview...how did Ryan Connor do (R & R Heli logging)? I know Ryan and Lance pretty well.

Sorry, but I wouldn't pay $10,000 for a fireplace mantel. I don't care how good they say it will look.

What a bunch of rednecks. A $5000 budget, looks like about a $500 budget. What a bunch of junk equipment. The Cat. is the only piece worth having.

Boy these Aqua Loggers are the biggest dipchits I have ever seen.

^^^X2^^^

i liked how it showed them crashing their POS on the first trip of the season. motor won't start, an *sshole at the helm of the boat, a bunch of other inbreds trying to figure out how to tie a knot and not enough clearance to make it under the bridge. i'm sure they will do great.

I'm not even sure what they are doing is legal. They are really picky about doing anything that stirs up silt around here or messes with what they call fish habitat.

yet amazing accurite

ahhh, brings back not so fond memories

The axmen clowns showed up on my brothers logging sides in Grays harbor County last May. he told them he wouldn't have his crews b!tching about each other on camera and then still have to work together. Also the amount of unsafe situations and close calls that occur in each show wouldn't occur in normal operations. Working for Weyerhaeuser, near misses have to be reported, and an accident results in 6 month probation and termination if another accident in that time. As for the water loggers, I haven't seen it ,but have been told about it. I worked up there for a year, and in some areas the gene pool is so shallow, you couldn't get your ankles wet.

I watched the first few episodes on season one, havn't seen the latest stuff. What I seen then was pretty dang close though, for the shoddy crew I worked with anyways. Family type operations are a far cry from a large corp like Weyerhaeuser.

shemales in the lunch box, baggies of chit, horsing around and dangerous pranks were the norm.

one dude got his hand caught in the hydrolic carriage, the mainline clamp was opened and sucked his hand down inside...it was ugly, had to clamp the mainline again to get his hand out.

yarder operator throwing a tantrum cause we sent up a cull, free lined the whole turn back down the skyline at us.

skyline broke above my head, we were on extensions and the carriage was so high up in the air we couldn't see when to stop the turn..carriage got slapped and broke the skyline...here comes the whole works on top of my head..you just have to watch it fall to know which way to run

I was green, fresh out of highschool but they needed a body so they sent me, the landing rat, down in the brush to hook. learned fast to not pull a turn out and swing it over my pardners head

our crew would have made excellent tv

been logging, and around loggers most of my life. axmen is so far off base it is crazy. yes it can be dangerous, is it as bad "as seen on TV ?" no way!!!!!!!!

Those loggin outfits on that show give loggers a bad name. I dont even know one logger that can sit and watch that show without being disgusted. As for those aqua loggers they are possibly the biggest jackasses ive iver seen, dont know how they got on the show. Makes for a pretty good laugh though:D

was laughing my as$ off the whole time watching the aqua loggers... wow they suck at life. wonder if the grunts the guy in scuba gear made helped him swim better

Switched to Heli-Loggers on Thursday night. It's amazing seeing 20,000 lb+ prepped trees getting snapped off the stump and lifted off the mountain. Also, none of the soap opera BS. Makes Ax-Men look like spoiled teenage boys ...

well I'm happy to hear the crew I worked for was not the norm, from reading the above posts.

Like I said, I was fresh outta highschool and didn't know better. Good thing DNR kicked us out the woods for the fire danger. I got lay'd off and got a real job :D

you call surfing snowest and keeping the canucks at bay a job? That's almost as good as my job.
