went for my first ever ride yesterday,it was 9 pm so i didnt push my luck with the neybours.it was great but that thing is so hard to control at first, 5 minutes is all it took to come back sweaty, out of breath and with aching forearms. i guess i was holding on to hard for dear life.loved it but what a workout to keep fighting with that thing. i need lots of practice before hawkfest east. its gonna be a great winter:face-icon-small-hap

Here's a few tips for tonight's ride :

- Make sure you countersteer as hell,
- Use your feet to press on the inside peg of the turn
- Use the throttle to "lift" the ski, that thing won't turn like a motorcycle wheel that's for sure !
- Avoid riding below 10k/h, it's the hardest thing to do on a Hawk after a 180 air off a "snow quarterpipe" in the backcountry (damn this year is gonna be the year for that...)
- Have fun !

I think we all went through the forearm pump days, After you learn to let it pick its own line and not fight it the forearm pump will go away.

The throttle is your friend, they steer better under power, kinda like a jet boat.
