The Bottom Line: Watch for Wind and Storm Slabs forming in the new snow as the Avalanche Danger increases throughout the day. Persistent Slab avalanches claimed lives along the east slopes of the Cascades in the past 2 weeks. Avoid steep, complex terrain and sit out this low likelihood - high consequence problem; ensure a wide buffer between where you travel and open slopes over 35 degrees as well as large avalanche paths.

I just copied that from the NWAC forecast for Thursday and Friday. Avy danger is CONSIDERABLE. More people are killed on considerable(orange) days than either high(red)or extreme(black). There’s lots of good spots to ride still. Low angle, most of the tight tree areas but avoid the obvious bad spots. Open faces, faces with terrain traps at the bottom(worst), obvious avalanche chutes. One at a time on anything you even get a funny feeling about. Watch your friends, stay in sight of at least one other person, don’t be afraid to speak up if something doesn’t look or feel safe. Live to ride another day.

And there's going to be a significant warmup in the mountains over the weekend. Baker will be going off (in a good way).
