AVY danger as bad as I've ever seen in WA!

Rode Baker today and it was bottomless (4' +) up top. Great day but.......

We saw wind slabs 4-5' deep on every East facing slope. We could hear them cracking but didn't see any slides. We didn't do any sidehilling and stayed in the trees. All you people out there be safe.

Have a good ride at Finney guys But Remember BE CAREFUL!!! I believe there was an Avalanche up there (small one) this week. Like AJ says just not worth it!! Be aware of what is around ya, those that took the classes last weekend remember what you were tought, you can find a safe place. Don't ride alone and be by yourself, take someone with you-a buddy.

Even on the sides of the trails when we'd hook up on the sides we could break little slabs loose. It's pretty crazy out there people. The worst was when we got up to the first meadow at excelsior there was about 7 sleds up there all riding on the big hill, four at a time!! One guy got stuck on the hill and his buddy went up and sidehilled right over the top of him. I mean seriously... be smart people.

Was out yesterday.....Did 40 miles - all groomed trailed or boondocking thru the trees.....Good time to ride the Taneum, FS Rd 4510 or some of those areas.......
