Avy course in central alberta

I am posting this thread for a friend who is getting an avalanche course together for nov.22 , it will be held in delburne , a small town 45km east of red deer , its a one day class room course with a feild day to be booked at a later date , if interested contact rob houstan at 403-749-2151

Hey, good to see that the Avy Awareness classes by Lori are making it onto the site. For all her dates and locations go to the website, because they are held all over AB, SK and field course in BC. YOu can become a Level 1 certified in Avalanche Safety Training in 2 days. And what is 2 days when it could save a life!

Hey, sorry I've been busy trying to get all of Lori's courses finalized!

For the Avalanche Skills Training Level 1 classroom session being held in Lousana it is $150 per person. If you wanted to become Level 1 certified you would have to complete the field session as well. There are loads of dates in December and January which you can choose from for this. The cost for the field session is $200 per person. There is a discount offered of 16%if you can get a group of 6 or more to sign up for the class and field sessions.

New dates in Grand Prairie, Fernie and Brooks

Take a look , but hurry up as some of the dates are filling fast. Brooks in on the 8 & 9th December and the Grand Prairie and Fernie courses have been set up so that you can get fully certified for your AST Level 1 over a couple of days.
