Avy classes

Anyone know if there are any avy courses in the near future to be held in Wisconsin? Guess I'd be willing to travel across the border to Illinois, only if I had too. I know there were some in Madison and Milwaukee in Oct, but was out of town. Are they only in the fall? What about an online course?

Next classes I have scheduled in your area would be in MN on Jan 21st in St. Cloud at Bristow's. I have been doing classes at Engelhart's in Madison and at the Milwaukee Snowmobile Show the last couple of years. If you have enough people, I can come out and teach a class. Mike Duffy

Is there any in Appleton area? I know a couple years ago they had some at the eagle river derby.

Was just going to mention the ER classes. I took Mike's class at the Hiawatha. Awesome course. Would definatley do it again. Srry, but I also missed the Milwaukee course this year. May be able to get some more for a class if still interested this year. Mike, you may want to contact Allan Decker at the Derby track in Eagle River. I know it's short notice, but they may be interested in setting up a class. I would drive the 4 hrs for this once more.

Sounds good Mike, please keep me informed. We have a group heading out to Island Park from Feb 20th-27th, and this class would be great for them. Some of our guys have taken it, while others haven't. All will be using beacons and I'll be showing them what I've learned and practiced since your class, but nothing is as good as getting it from the master. From what I've been reading about conditions out there, it's best to stay in the meadows right now. Hopefully by next month, most of the big stuff will have broken loose and settled down a bit.

Sorry, doesn't look like Eagle River will happen this year. I will try for one next year. Plan on a class at the Snowmobile Show in Milwaukee and hopefully again at Engelhart's in Madison around November. Thanks for the interest, Mike
