Hopefully Mike made it in time... we spent last night staring at a road that SHOULD have been open... wondering why they were doing nothing.

I'm guessing he got through this morning at least!!!

I hope so, I'm signed up for the class tomorrow night in Madison. Backcountry, aren't you orginally from cheesehead land?

Didn't know there was a moutain in Wisconsin we call you flat landers lol.

HEY! I grew right in between Devil's Head MOUNTAIN & Cascade MOUNTAIN...

The avy danger there was EXTREME! (I think we had a 300 foot rise with one of the runs being nearly a mile... you do the math on THAT gradient!!):face-icon-small-dis

SXRlar, I grew up between Merrimac & Portage right on lake WI & lived in deforest/windsor after school till I moved here. Never touched a sled till I moved!

As they say in CO,

I'm not a native... but I got here as quick as I could. :D

Mike made it!!

Mike made it in time, class started at 6, he got there about 5:15. He did have a good story about spending most of the night at a resturant the night before when the roads were closed in CO. Mike & the class was awsome!!!! If you think you should take an Avy Class find a way to get to one. We had a sled show before the class, we had about 25+ sleds show up. Wow I never knew there was as many built sleds in the Central Wisconsin area, Thanks to Rock & guys who ride with him for bringing out the Big Iron. We had 38 people for the class, excellent turn out for WI. Thanks to Mike and all who attended!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the feedback. Glad you liked the class. I was very impressed with all the sleds lined up out front when I showed up. You guys are very serious riders! Thanks to Dan McGiveron and V and H Trucks in Marshfield for hosting the class. Quite the training facility. I had a great time and it was great meeting all of you. Mike Duffy
