Got an email today about my AviVest. Thought I would post a heads up for those that might not have received it or have changed their contact info:

Issue:
During a recent quality control audit, we discovered that your AviVest v2.1 [Serial #: xxxxxx, Size: M, Color: Black] was part of a batch that were assembled with an airbag that did not have the 1050D reinforcement section around the Venturi. great company service

Got a package in the mail today 5/16/12 and here it was a brand new avi vest with the information to return my old one, with a prepaid ups return shipping label. I was offered a new second pressure canister or 25% off my next purchase. I never even new about this recall, until they sent me an email with why they were sending me a new one. I did buy my avi vest last year at haydays. It's really nice and refreshing to have this kind of outstanding customer service! Hats off to wary inc.
 
Any more news on this? I have a brand new vest from last year, but never got an email with any info. Is there a S/N range?
 
If I remember right, in the original email they sent me, they said that a certain number of units did not have the proper reinforcement in a particular area. I would say that you do not have one of these units, seeing you have not received their letter. I would still call them and double check.
 
I'd contact them with your serial.

I got a replacement, sent mine back an already have my spare nitro canister.

Wary will work with anyone that has any questions in regards to there products. I do know that they have been very busy working on the recall and getting the new products ready for this upcoming season.
