Avid wear running new CE 2.5?

For the last 2 years I ran the original CE 2.5 and Avid drivers with no problems or signs of wear. This year my track tore and wasn't repairable so I replaced it with the new CE 2.5. The new track had little nubs on every window which I removed so my original avids would work (i remember other Snowesters doing the same). I now have 700km on the track and my drivers are really starting to wear badly. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a solution? Like I said I had 1500km on the old track and everything was like new under there.
