Avid drivers

I am putting avid drivers on my 08 nytro. I am using a 141" arctic cat 1.5" track. I was wondering what pitch, tooth #, and Drive shaft size I should be ordering?

Thanks.

just call robbie and ask.. he knows all..

as far as pitch.. you need to know the pitch of the track you have, other then that, he knows the nytro shaft size, and can figure out what your gonna need for clearances..

Most guys are running 7 tooth drivers with a 2.5" track on the Nytro. You should be able to fit 8 tooth drivers in with a 1.5" track. If you find out the 8 tooth fits, I have a deal on a good used set of Mountain Magic drivers. I had to change my 8 tooth to 7's to fit the 3" track. $200.00, paid $450.00 CAD. Cant buy a better driver.

The Nytro comes stock with 3" pitch drivers, both the Apex and Nytro have the same shaft size, I believe it is 1 1/8".

drivers

should mention which nytro you have cause as mentioned the mtx has 3 inch pitch drivers already but the short track and possiby the xtx have 2.52 inch pitch drivers. at least that is what i am told never looked into it myself. something too keep in mind anyway.

I have A 121" 08 nytro. I am converting it into a 141"because I got a really good deal on a track. I am in the process of building a turbo kit. I found out that the track I am using has a 2.52 pitch. How much approx are a set of avid drivers?

$240 usd for a pair.. they are the best available IMO... Seen them on pretty much every high horse sled around, and they last. im putting mine on now as my old wahl bros were basically melting the tips off from to much boosted power.

Does anyone know robbies number or e-mail. I can't seam to find a driver that will work on the website. There doesn't seem to be any drivers that are 8 tooth with a 2.52 pitch.

I think Skidoo makes a decent extrovert driver for 2.52 pitch, I think lots of guys use to use them for the tbo'd RX1's. I believe they are 8 tooth as well. You could talk to Curtis at Tracks Canada, he would be able to tell you, or sell you something that will work.

Hey Tyler, I am sure I have a set of 2.52 Doo extroverts that I ran on my Apex. They are 9 tooth and I am sure they still in perfect condition. Let me know if you need them and I will send them out. I still have your shipping address.:face-icon-small-coo
