Yep. $5.50 here. So I got a question, what is the difference between 100LL and 110 race fuel? I can get both but the race fuel is $7.50/gal verses $5.50/gal for 100LL?

And just a FYI, if you can find it somewhere off of the airstrip there is no FFA airport tax or airport fees. In ak we have a place behind the skidoo dealership that is usuall 4.50-5 a gallon. Priced it out and a 55 gallon drum cost me a whole $30 more than pump premium when you don't have the air tax and fees in with it.

How would you find a place that sells 100ll besides an airport since it costs so much less. I am planning on filling up 55gallon barrels and the cheaper I can get it the better.

Just in case anyone around Calgary/Red Deer AB are cruising by this thread, 100LL was $1.75/L at Didsbury a few weeks ago when I filled my barrel.

Just curious, has anybody been denied Av fuel or been asked for a N number?

I was unsure about that at first so I called a couple smaller airports and they said as long as they could ground/bond to the container they'd fill it. The guys I spoke with didn't want to know what I was using it for. At some small airports it's the local flying association operating the pumps so any fuel sales benefit the association directly.

It's around $5.50 in southwestern minnesota which is not much different for me when you pay $4.50 for premium on the mountain.
