Avalanche Sunday in McCall

Does anyone know how the snowmobiler is that was trapped in the avalanche on Sunday. Just checking to see if he regained consciousness.

guys i just got back to mccall from the hospital and he did not have consiousnense(im tired and dont know how to spell) he is on heavy drugs and they will check him out for consiosness in the morning. the surgery went great on his femor. ....i stood in his room with my hand on his hand talking to him and everyone who would talk to him got some little respnse such as once eyes opening, moved feet, toes, hand squeezing, all when you ask him to, he raised his eye brows for me and looked like he tried to open his eyes but not enough energy. this is very hard for me to wright. . .this has affected the way i look at life in general and I still cant belive this has happened, I will be headed back down to boise in the morning, another prayer for you buddy

I think we were just over the ridge in East Fork when this happened. We heard sleds and saw someone climbing above Duck I think while we were taking a little break before dropping into East Fork. Was that you guys? We headed north after that. Where did the chopper land and what time did you guys get out of there?

Yeah, being involved in an avy rescue ourselves has changed our outlook on many things!

we were climbinb the chute in the corner of duck lake probably around 2:00 mccall time... we then went into what we call black dog valley (one bowl east of duck lake) and the avy happened around 2:30 pm mccall time.. the chopper met us in the brundage ski lot (idk what time but the emt's met us on the hill around 4pm i would say he got the helicopter an hour or so after that)

I may have missed it, but what is his condition? Is he improving? We were up in the area as well, but left a bit earlier to address mechanical issues.
