This is a clip I copy and pasted from the CAIC. Good info......layer information may follow us all.............ALL season.
Highlights
Wednesday's weather will not hurt the snowpack, but the snowpack structure remains weak. Upper layers are consolidating and gaining strength. That would be good, but the underlying weak layers are not strengthening. That means avalanches are getting a little harder to trigger, but triggering large, dangerous avalanches remains likely on many slopes. These avalanches can be triggered remotely from low angle terrain well below starting zones. You may not get any warning, like cracks or collapses, before the slabs rip out and come crashing down. The next storm arrives on Thursday when avalanche danger will start to rise.
Be careful this upcoming weekend. Looks like freshies will be served. Respect the Mountain. (Pardon the .......just trying to help)
