FREE AVALANCHE AWARENESS AND RESCUE CLINIC
The Snowy Range Snowmobile Club will be hosting a FREE avalanche clinic February 21 & 22.
Bridger-Teton National Forest Avalanche Center (Jackson Hole Avalanche) expert instructor Mike Nelson and others from Jackson, Wyoming will give a two day seminar on avalanche awareness and field rescue skills.
This class is taught by expert instructors and geared towards the backcountry snowmobile enthusiast.

This is first rate stuff – for free, thanks to a partnership with the Wyoming State Trails Program and a Recreational Trails Program (RTP) grant.
The avalanche class will be held in two parts:
*Classroom Session: 6pm Friday, February 21, 2014 at Laramie Holiday Inn
*Field Session: Saturday, February 22 in the Snowy Range, Time and Location TBA
You must attend the classroom session to be eligible for the field session
Limited slots are available for the field session.
We are working on a repeat of the class with classroom session on Saturday evening, Feb 22 with a Sunday field session. If we fill the first class.

We will reserve the field session on Saturday to Club members first (You can join). Then any open spots will be on a first reserve basis.
