New this season! Classes for Snowmachiners
Module 1 ~ Red Flags: Recognition of Avalanche Hazard 1 day @ $155.00
Module 2 ~ Green Lights: Core Concepts in Avalanche Safety 1 day @ $155.00
Together, these two modules offer important information and hands-on practice of the skills needed for motorized recreation in the backcountry. The modules can be taken separately during the season or together over a weekend.
Morning classroom instruction takes place on-site (in a heated venue) at 20 mile/Placer or Turnagain Pass depending on snow conditions. The class will then adjourn to the outdoors as instructors and participants ride their machines into the backcountry to practice these skills for the day.
Module 1 Class Dates: January 14th and February 4th, 2012
Module 2 Class Dates: January 15th and February 5th, 2012
