Instructor: Mike Duffy. Level I & II Avalanche instructor Colorado Mountain College, rescue/avalanche team leader Vail Mountain Rescue Group, instructor Walter Kirch Avalanche Seminars, graduate of National Avalanche School, National Academy of Winter Guiding. Mountain Snowmobiler for 20 years.

Some of the guys in Fargo who took the class in December pulled off an impressive avalanche rescue of one of their riding partners who was completely buried. The slope failure was a very rare incident during moderate danger, but the techniques they used made all the difference.

Avy class

Any chance you will be getting any closer to Iowa, especially central iowa. Probably could get the local clubs to set something up. Lots of people going west from here and to be honest I don't think near enough have the proper respect for the potential danger.
