This coming Sunday the 27th, there is an Avalanche Awareness Day up at the top of Big Mountain (Whitefish).

There will be a beacon station, probing station, pit, and inside will be video and other things.

This is FREE. Come by and get some hands on practice. It will be from 11:00-3:00
