i put my gas tank from my rev on my xp and the straps are to short. i got the mounting kit for the xp. my question is is there a different tank for the xp?

I cannot directly answer your question but I can tell you the part# of the Jerry Can that came with my complete Rev XP JerryCan kit is p/n: 520000675. I got this part# right from the installation instructions. If you could find someone who has the installation instructions of a Jerrycan kit from a standard REV and get the part# of the Jerrycan included with that kit you will have a definite answer.

yes the rev and xp use different jerry cans. they look identical but the xp is a little smaller. you can't buy just the can either. i paid $75 for the mounting hardware that i can't use because i need to buy the whole kit now with the can for $99.
