AutoCad Programs?

Does anyone know of a free program that I can use to make an average house plan up? I have googled free programs and all I get is 7 day trials and stuff like that. I would think there would have to be some out there.

Check out Google Sketchup its free and easy to use. Not exactly like autocad, but should be able to get the job done. http://sketchup.google.com/

Thanks I downloaded that one and wanted a litle more yet. I went to a drafting forum and found this. It's basically autocad seems exactly the same to me....O and it's free.

It's exactly like Autocad. Now i'm trying to find a free library of blocks. Like predrawn Toilets, sinks, stove etc.

Well i don't really care, The program I found is 100% legal just trying to find some premade blocks now so I don't have to take the time to make those.

Try cben.net for blocks. Not sure what program you found but there are tons of .dwg format blocks here if you can use those. I got a lot of my residential blocks I use for drafting off that site. But I'm running AutoCAD so I'm not sure what other programs will be able to use those blocks.

Where you talking his program or blocks? Or were you offering him "copyrighted" material?
