ATTN: Anyone who was towed from the Crystal Springs/FS 5400 area in Nov 2011

If your vehicle was towed from the FS 5400 road adjacent to the Crystal Springs Snowpark in November of last year (2011), please read the attached PDF. Judge Darrel R Ellis of the Upper Kittitas County District Court has issued the attached ruling in favor of the individuals listed on the document. If you are in need of any info on how to persue your own suit, please shoot me a PM and I can get you pointed in the right direction.

Thanks for posting this Casey. Good to hear that this was all sorted out...I just wish that Mr. O'Connor and West and Sons Towing would have been slapped on the wrist a bit harder. Only incuring $225 for reasonable loss seems a bit on the low side for damages/wrongful town (Truck $150, Trailer $75). Imagine coming back to where you parked your truck and trailer and find them gone....and then having to find a way to get to your truck that is 30+ miles away (correct me if i'm wrong but i think the trucks were towed to the seattle area). Keep in mind that after a long day of riding all that you want to do is put on some dry clothes and head home. I'd be a bit upset!

Rant over! Glad to see that the judge rulled in their favor!

Could not agree more, wish they had thrown the book at both the tow company and the property owner. My buddies and I gave a few of these guys the ride back down to Renton to recover thier rigs/trailers, glad we were still hanging around when they arrived to find their rigs missing. They were very thankful for the ride down the hill and a few cold beers I had stashed. I should have had them include some gas $$$ in the suit for me too, could have been riding around Stampede with fuel paid for by the tow company and homeowner~
