I spoke with Chris and he's willing to donate a day's ride and a Turboed M8 for whoever is lucky enough to win.

Since he is so busy he asked that I please discuss it with you all and come up with a date so he can book it.

Backcountry Adventures availability!
Please look in February and later.

Post your replies as quickly as possible, please.

I hope that everybody has a Merry Christmas and that WE ALL have a better year than last year!

Thank you!

That would be so awesome just to ride for a few minutes let alone the whole day. When will the raffle tickets be available?

Nice PJ! That'll be pretty sweet, go flog on somebody elses TM 8:D I'd recommend a Saturday. Looks like the first few weekends of March have space, and the same for April. Just pick a date.

Pick a date and let us who aren't able to attend the 4m ride know when we can buy tickets.

Great idea - kudos to Chris for the donation and you for going after it.

Is 50 bucks a piece to high. lol I think Allen has something in mind. I think they will be a little higher than previous years, due to the huge prize list. Not sure how he's going about selling them. Probably not a bad time to start though.

x2!!! What was last year?

How does March 7th or 14th sound? He has one opening available each day. Lemme know and I will get him to book it! Cheers!:beer;:beer;

You guys are doing an amazing job organizing this ride. You have even been able to get donations for the raffle in tough economic times. To those who have donated time and or goods or services, thanks for your kindness and support. I am looking forward to attending my first forum ride, and maybe the best yet!

By the way, will there be a sponser/donation list posted so we may direct our business their way in the future?

Yeah, I think VE69 has a list of all sponsors and donations. Or you could look at the back of the Forum ride t-shirts if that thread hasn't disintegrated.

Wow! Awesome!
I bet we could get duke1n to donate a day of his glorious greatness too ($710.00) value! Maybe he could throw in a washed up F7 if he still has it.

Back of the shirt. Might be missing a few sponsors. Also check LTR's thread stuck up top, it may have more.

Bushy, I think that $50 a piece is too high. I would like to purchase maybe 100 or 150 worth of tickets and still have a chance to win something. I believe that they were selling them for 5 apiece last year and they made a fair amount of coin. In this economy we are very lucky to be receiving such nice donations, let's make it possible for peeps to have a chance at purchasing what they can and still have a fair chance of winning something or we could lay them out on a table for a silint auction but I think a raffle would be more fun. I am looking forward to pulling some names outta a hat and calling somebody's name out.

Just kidding about the $50, PJ! Not sure if it matters how much the tickets cost, people have a set amount they are going to spend and I doubt the odds of winning will change much regarless of price. I would suggest $10, but i don't know much about raffles and I'll trust VE69, or whoever is going to hassle with the money to handle it.

Leave it to Doody to recognize the goodness of my heart. I will for entertainment purposes only, step in and be Chris's tail gunner err wingman. Since it will be a stuckfest I will be in the back picking off stragglers so as they do not become an encumbrance to the group's pace. You get stuck... boink! This is all dependent upon someone teaching me how to ride my new sofa. Helpers?
