Is attitude Industries controller a good controller to use for a turbo apex?

thank you

I have heard the pure logic control is the best and easiest to run. Not to impressed with the look of the AI.

You will have WAY WAY better support with Pure Logic. Good luck trying to get a hold of anyone from Attitude to help if any problem arises. I emailed Dereck or who ever is running the outfit a month ago for some help through their website and still haven't heard back. Called Pure Logic and they had me taken care of ASAP. I have a Pure Logic and Attitude controller and the Pure Logic is better for performance as well IMO. Way better response.

I run the pure logic and it works good for me, untill I see someone with a good running RB3 box I will stick with the pure logic on my apex and nitro. The 3 sleds I seen this winter with the RB3 were not running very well. Not sure were they were setup or installed but the sled were in revy.

It took a bit since the RB3 just hit our market but I have written a couple of sweet maps for my Apex that are running very well. Both are for race fuel. Now that I can make quick adjustments in the field on my cell phone without a laptop there will be no looking back!!

I think with the RB3 you have to be willing to go through the tuning process and get the maps dialed for your specific setup. Once you have that you can switch a couple of plugs around and switch to your old controller and really see the difference in back to back pulls on the hill!! You can even get rid of the huge rich spot on the Apex's at 4600-5000rpm by removing fuel.

As with any new product I think it will take some time for the masses to get some different maps for different setups. Once that happens it will make it easier for the guys that don't want to or can't tune their own sleds.

Cool thing is you can just email the file to someone and they can load it in about 20 seconds.

Mike.....are you splitting your loyolty these days??

Have you done any tuning with a dyno? I am curious as to if you noticed a large difference from tuning in the field to tuning on a dyno. Or are you just cutting fuel to get to a more optimum AFR?

For me I did not make the change for power only. I made the change to have infinate amount of control over fuel and timing.

The two things I was looking for most were adding timing on the bottom and being able to make the throttle response super clean and responsive by removing fuel on the bottom end. As a side benefit once you have those you naturally get more power. Most of the Apex's that I have ridden don't have a clean running bottom end no matter what the fuel control is set at.

I have never been a huge dyno fan. I think it is all about good clean usable on the hill performance/power. Hell I have still not even gone above 18 lbs yet.

STILL WAITING FOR MY TWO BOXES TO COME BACK DERICK.?? Its been six months you said "two weeks"
