I'm going to put my SLP exhaust set-up on my 09 1000.I'm going to use the Attitude Industries generation 3 fuel controller box.Everything else is stock & 42 psi fuel pressure.Derek at Attitude recommended these setting
Green .5
Yellow .5
Red 2.5
Yellow Blue 4.5
Red Green 6.7

Is this what others have found close or is there any other guys that would like to share their setting?
Also where is a good mounting spot?I thinking right on top of my ECU.

I think those will be right on. I run the '08 and they had me start at Green 1 and Yellow 1, but it was because I run a Timbersled intake along with the SLP exhaust system. I did have to pull mine down to .5, or the fast blink on the green though because it was to fat at idle. I have had BD Boxes before this and really like the Attitude box. It's awesome so far! Good luck.........

Right behind the coolant bottle.

I brought mine up thru the hole for the steering post and velcroed it to the cowling near the post. 2nd year no problems that way you can see the lights for adjustment.

I tried doing this to see the lights while riding and the wires were clothes-lined, banjo tight across the top of the pipe. How did you achieve this? Thanks!

The newer controllers have a longer wiring harness.

I have mine beside the coolant bottle as well. But there was a guy on here once that did this and his glue let go and his controller fell on his pipe or can and melted it this made it malfunction and it leaned out his engine and toasted it. That is why I have an extra strap around the wires so if the glue lets loose it can't fall.
